ELEMENT BIO

BioBased Industrial Solutions.

Element BIO Inc. provides biobased industrial lubricants, cleaners and solvents. Our line of hydraulic fluids, lubricants and cleaners use vegetable sources as base oils providing environmental benefits and decreasing cost and risk without sacrificing performance.

We are dedicated to bringing environmentally sustainable solutions to industrial processes by replacing conventional; petroleum based industrial products with biobased alternatives.

BioBased Hydraulic Fluids

Sustainable. Green. Biodegradable.

Please be aware that given the custom blending nature of BioBased Products
and continued supply chain issues, orders may take an additional week to be received.

Biodegradable Drilling Fluids & Lubricants

Readily Biodegradable. Environmentally Friendly. High Lubricity.

Specialty Lubricants

Low Toxicity. Green Construction. High Viscosity.

OUR BIOBASED PRODUCT LINE

Our product line of hydraulic fluids, penetrating and cutting oils are readily biodegradable, non-toxic and generally perform better than conventional petroleum based products.

To complement our industrial lubricants line a number of food grade greases and biobased cleaning products allow for a complete catalog of biobased industrial supplies. Most of our products have also been defined as BioPreferred or carry the Preferred Federal Purchasing distinction.

Bio-based products offer renewable solutions to industrial processes that perform as well as, if not better than, traditional petroleum-based formulas. Their use has been demonstrated throughout multiple industries across a growing number of applications.

Most of our products are labelled under the BioPreferred Labeling Program of BioBased Products. Please contact us regarding how our product selection fits into your BioBased Purchasing Requirements.

BioBased Cleaners

Renewable Base. Outstanding Performance. Non-Toxic Cleaner

Specialty BioBased Cleaners

BioBased. Certified Base Oils. Non-Toxic Cleaners.

Frequently requested information on biobased chemical and product facts, benefits and Federal Purchasing Requirements compared with conventional petroleum based products.

Biobased Performance Benefits

+ Higher lubricity reduces machine wear and lowers frictions.

+ Higher flash points reduces fire risk for workers and property.

+ Same or higher functional performance than petroleum based products.

+ Most products are compliant with Federal Purchasing Regulations.

BioBased Products Facts

+ Biobased products will NOT decompose in closed environments such as hydraulic cylinders.

+ Biobased products require water, sun AND microbes to decompose.

+ Biobased products perform at least if not better than conventional petroleum products.

+ Biobased products come from renewable resources.

BioBased Environmental Benefits

+ Readily biodegradable that ensures 99% of products will decompose within 30 days given an environment with water, sun and microbes.

+ Higher lubricity means that less energy is expanded during normal operation and that machine wear is decreased.

+ Non-toxicity ensures that accidental spills or worker contact will not adversely affect or harm humans, environment and wildlife.

+ High biobased content supports carbon neutral operations.

Federal Purchasing Requirements.

+ The United States Department of Agriculture, the lead agency for BioBased program and Congressional informer of repeating Farm Bills, passed in 2002, 2008, and 2014 established a biobased product program to increase the purchase, and specific percentages of biobased content base federal use of products. More specifically, the Farm Bill established Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, which contains requirements for Federal and Federal Contracting purchasing.

+ The USDA’s program identifies products that have been selected for ‘Preferred Federal Purchasing’, the program identifies and describes products that have been independent, third-party, laboratory tested with established percentages of Biobased content.
